Abstract
Integrated monitoring programme for the marine environment in Albania (IMP) has been developed taking into consideration adequate spatial coverage, frequency and timing, also addressing interconnections and necessary integration between different ecological objectives, in order to contribute to the cost-effectiveness of the Integrated monitoring.
Preparation of the integrated monitoring programme for Albania was prepared as part of the project "Implementation of Ecosystem Approach in the Adriatic Sea through Marine Spatial Planning" (GEF Adriatic
project) financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented in Albania and Montenegro.
